Made in Czech Republic, these reverse carved picture stones are miniature works of art. Known historically as crystal paintings, each of these glass crystal stones is hand pressed with a reverse intaglio image on the back. The intaglio carving was then painted, the surrounding surface was cut to remove excess color and the back was then coated with a vitrail medium color.
