Made in Germany. These vintage plastic decal stones go by many different names. They are also known as porcelain paintings and as cameo picture stones. Each flat back stone has a decal image applied to the top surface of a smooth buff top cabochon base, then a protective lacquer coating is added for further protection of the decal. Due to lacquer and decal coloration, background shades may vary.
