Our precision cut genuine marcasite stones have a faceted top and a flat back. Made from pyrite, a cubic crystallization of iron sulphite (FeS2) with a Mohs hardness of 6.5. Pyrite is known as Marcasite when cut into stones for jewelery and fashion designs.
