Shipping and Handling All goods are shipped UPS ground from our Rhode Island location. Shipping fees are charged to the customer at the rate that we are charged by the carrier. Most goods ship using UPS but we can also ship via Federal Express or US Mail. Please let us know if you have a preferred shipper We take pride in delivering our goods to you safely so that they arrive in the same condition as they left our door. As a result, we charge a nominal handling fee ($3.00) on each order to help ensure your purchase is properly packed to arrive in perfect condition. Refused Orders In stock merchandise is generally shipped within the next two business days. We pick and pack orders Monday through Friday except holidays. Actual delivery time varies by destination and shipping method. Backorders Occasionally an item listed on our website will be temporarily out of stock and unavailable for immediate shipment. You will not be billed for any items that are out of stock. When your order is prepared for shipment, we will send a shipment confirmation email clearly identifying what was shipped and billed to your credit card. International Customers We are happy to ship products to our international customers. Orders shipped to addresses outside the U.S. and Canada may be placed online, or by contacting us at (401)-921-4899 or toll-free from the USA, Canada and Mexico at (800)-334-9971. International orders require extra care and attention and may require additional time to prepare due to the additional packing and Customs preparation. Customs fees or taxes imposed by Customs for an order are separate from the shipping charges, and are not the responsibility of J F Allen & Son. Customers are responsible for all duty, freight and taxes imposed on international shipments. All Good are shipped on an F.O.B. basis unless otherwise agreed by us in writing.
